Steele Creek Fellowship

We are back at the Gunn’s this week to continue Chris’s Bible study, and support those continuing their Daniel Fast with more yummy, fast-approved dishes.  Travis Bieda will also be joining us again to get a little more footage needed for promotions.

The next SC Fellowship gathering will be held on Monday, November 7th beginning with dinner at 6:30 pm.  Food details are TBA.  We will be continuing our series on spiritual growth.

Our next meeting falls on 11/21.  We should be able to meet there.  This might be a good week for Plaza Fiesta.  Stay tuned!

Hello dear friends!  My email comes a little late this week because we just returned from PA, visiting Doug’s family.  This Monday we will be meeting at the Gunn’s home, with Shawn Tayon sharing the Bible study.  I can bring baked ziti as the main dish for everyone- can I get some volunteers to bring salad, bread, and/or drinks?

UPDATE:  Dinner will be breakfast!  Bring your favorite breakfast dish to share.

This Monday we are holding a shower for Shawn and Brenna Tayon and their baby boy!   In addition to sharing dinner together, we will have cake and gifts for this special couple.

REQUESTED GIFTS:  Diapers size N or 1 (Luvs brand is Brenna’s favorite) and wipes.

Steele Creek Fellowship will be kicking off its Fall meetings on Monday, September 12 beginning at 6:30 pm for dinner.  The evening hosts will be Tom and Heather Lawson located at 13525 Armour Ridge Drive Charlotte, NC 28273.  Tom and Heather will be providing fried chicken.  Please bring a side to share!

The goal of this season will be to take the relationships that we’ve built over the summer and to deepen them as the Lord the directs and as each person is comfortable.  As such, we will try to be intentional about opportunities for fellowship outside of the bi-weekly small group.  Some ideas include girls and guys nights out, activities we can do with our kids, sitting together at one of our church services, special activities that each person enjoys (baseball night with Doug or movie night with Amy).  We can be creative and organic about it!

What resonates in my heart is to get to a place where we can be in the position to celebrate with each person when things go well (like when Chris’ house is complete!) and to be there to support when life is at its worth.  Hopefully we’ll be able to move that direction this Fall.

Come out and join us August 22, 6:30pm, at Chris and Jennifer Gunn’s home as Steele Creek Fellowship finishes up the summer with a cookout.  The Gunn’s will be grilling burgers, and then we will take the group to their new lot and pray over their new home to be built.

As discussed last week, we will be moving to a bi-weekly model.  Our next meeting will be Monday, August 8th at Chris and Jennifer’s place at 3065 Morel Ave. in Fort Mill.

Dinner will begin at 6:30 pm, with program beginning around 7:15 pm.  Please bring finger foods to share.
